About Me:
Born in Wigan, Lancashire, I was brought up in Dorset, England.

For several years I worked in the TV industry before moving across into tourism in the late 1980s. For a time, I was chairman of the Central Lakes tourism partnership in Cumbria, working on contract, promoting Cumbria Tourist Board, Northumbria Tourist Board, Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District National Park and other similar organisations.

During the 1990s, I also edited many British tourguides and became involved in putting this information onto the web for general access. I have associates all over Europe who provide me with information.

As well as that, I am a fiction author with 14 novels to my name. I am currently a tourism security consultant in London.
